Urgent Care
Tracy Goodman, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in urgent care and emergency medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Biology and Environmental Health Sciences from Wright State University. A highlight of her career was being selected to work and live in Yellowstone National Park as a physician assistant, providing medical services in the world’s first National Park. When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She stays busy by keeping up with her son’s hockey and marching band activities. She likes to stay active by hiking, backcountry camping, fly fishing, kayaking, and cycling. She and her family loves visiting their second home in the Teton Valley.
Philosophy of Care:
As a physician assistant for over 25 years, I have witnessed many innovative changes transform the healthcare experience for both myself and the patient. Even in an urgent, fast-paced setting, I strive to ensure both the patient and their families feel listened to and communicated to effectively. I think it is so important to show empathy, compassion, and kindness while also being respectful and allowing shared decision making regarding the patient’s treatment. I dedicate myself to excellence. Each day I ‘become my best’ by gaining medical knowledge, skills, and resilience to provide the most quality care to my patients.
