Darla's philosophy of care is consistent with the American College of Nurse Midwives, recognizing pregnancy and birth as natural part of life. She enjoys working with expectant mothers who are engaged in achieving what they want out of their life experiences, and especially what they want out of their own, very personal, birth experience.

Darla promotes health education, disease prevention, and non-intervention in the absence of complications. As a mother, and experienced midwife, she is committed to personalized, compassionate care for your childbirth and parenting journey.

Darla provides pre-natal, birth, postpartum care and offers support for breastfeeding. She offers preventive services such as cervical cancer and STD screening, as well as family planning, contraception, and evaluation of minor gynecologic problems.
