ABOUT
Greg Egnaczyk, MD, is a cardiologist at The Christ Hospital Health Network and contracted with Kettering Health Medical Group. He is board certified in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant, including mechanical circulatory support - and is now collaborating with Kettering Health Network for the care of advanced heart failure patients.
Dr. Egnaczyk earned a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His internal medicine training was at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed general cardiology training and advanced heart failure/transplant training at Duke University Medical Center.
In 2011, Dr. Egnaczyk moved to Cincinnati to help establish a non-transplant Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) center at the Christ Hospital. Besides mechanical circulatory support devices, he is interested in high-risk cardiomyopathies and cardiovascular intensive care medicine.
Dr. Egnaczyk is the Medical Director of Advanced Heart Failure and LVAD programs at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. His research experience spans from investigating the molecular pathways of cardiac regeneration to clinical trials in new medical and device therapies in heart failure. He has been named in the Top Doctors in Cincinnati since 2015 and won the Top Provider category for Cincinnati Business Courier Health Care Heroes in 2018.
