Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Stedje graduated from Mariemont High School. She attended the University of Denver, where she received her undergraduate with a double major in Biology and Chemistry in 1982. From there, she returned to Cincinnati, attending the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and graduating with her Doctor of Medicine in 1986. She completed her Family Practice residency in 1989 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio; and she is board certified in Family Medicine.
While her husband completed his medical training in Radiology, Dr. Stedje practiced in Cincinnati and in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1996 she returned to Dayton, where she and her husband have raised their two daughters. Dr. Stedje has practiced with PriMed/CenterMed Family Practice in Centerville and with Carillon Family Practice in Kettering.
In 2012, Dr. Stedje was privileged to join the Kettering Physician Network and Sycamore Family Medicine, where she works with Dr. Jodi Van Jura, Ashley Sanchez, APRN-CNP, and Cynthia Jordan, PA-C. Dr. Stedje enjoys caring for extended families, and sees patients in ages from newborn through nineties.
