Glenn R. Armstrong, APRN-CNP is a board-certified Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) serving the Beavercreek and surrounding community. Glenn brings more than 10 years of patient care experience to his role at Kettering Physician Network Behavioral Medicine. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing, with advanced clinical training in psychiatric mental health. Glenn, a retired Air Force Captain with 21 years of honorable military service, has more than 10 years total nursing experience with three and a half years as a board-certified Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In his last tour of duty at Wright Patterson Medical Center he was lead staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Beyond his role as a Nurse Practitioner he developed guidance and programing for an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), as well as serving as Outpatient Mental Health Clinic Chief, patient advocate, interim medical director for the Alcohol Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT) program, and clinical preceptor. Always patient centered in his approach to care; he, as a young inpatient nurse, championed programs focused on patient education, patient safety and patient advocacy.

What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
