ABOUT
Darla Baker, APRN-CNM is a highly skilled Certified Nurse Midwife at Kettering Physician Network Women's Health. She has more than 35 years of experience in healthcare and is passionate about the empowerment of woman in their healthcare, and the promotion of woman-and family-centered care. She values all that families bring to the journey of pregnancy, childbirth and parenting.

PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Darla's philosophy of care is consistent with the American College of Nurse Midwives, recognizing pregnancy and birth as natural part of life. She enjoys working with expectant mothers who are engaged in achieving what they want out of their life experiences, and especially what they want out of their own, very personal, birth experience.

SCOPE OF SERVICE
Darla promotes health education, disease prevention, and non-intervention in the absence of complications. As a mother, and experienced midwife, she is committed to personalized, compassionate care for your childbirth and parenting journey.

Darla provides pre-natal, birth, postpartum care and offers support for breastfeeding. She offers preventive services such as cervical cancer and STD screening, as well as family planning, contraception, and evaluation of minor gynecologic problems.
