Mujtaba Khan, MD completed his residency internal medicine at Wrigtht State University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and his fellowship in electrophysiology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Khan offers the Watchman™ procedure that reduces the risk of stroke in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. This procedure eliminates the need for long-term use of anticoagulants (blood thinners).
