Parthiv Shah, MD graduated from the University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago. He completed his residnecy in internal medicine at the Barnes Jewish Hospital / Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri and his cardiovascular fellowship at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Shah offers the Watchman™ procedure that reduces the risk of stroke in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. This procedure eliminates the need for long-term use of anticoagulants (blood thinners).
