As an electrophysiologist, Dr. Baig studies the electrical stimulus to the heart, including irregular heart beats and other causes of cardiac arrest. He currently serves as director of the Electrophysiology Lab for Kettering Health Network.

Dr. Baig offers the Watchman™ procedure that reduces the risk of stroke in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. This procedure eliminates the need for long-term use of anticoagulants (blood thinners).
